Part of The Grove at Spring Valley — a small collection of new custom homes developed by District495 — this 7,500-square-foot residence sits on a deeply wooded lot along Albemarle Street NW, steps from the forested edge of Dalecarlia Parkway. The site’s exceptional tree canopy informed both the siting and the character of the design, with the massing and fenestration oriented to preserve views into the surrounding woodland from the home’s three levels. Five bedrooms, six full baths, and two half baths are organized across the main and upper floors, while a detached two-car garage and private pool complete the program. The Grove at Spring Valley represents a rare opportunity for new construction in one of Northwest DC’s most verdant and established neighborhoods. Project is another successful collaboration with Studio Sophiste and Richardson & Associates Landscape Architecture.  Construction is currently underway.
