This project converts two stories of office space into eight market-rate apartment units along the bustling Wisconsin Avenue corridor near American University. Two retail spaces at the ground floor have been retained. Window openings above have been enlarged, and a common roof deck space has been created. A fresh color scheme enlivens the stately brick building, which becomes an active contributor to the neighborhood.
